South Bowie Community Center – Adjusted Opening Hours (8/12-8/13)
The South Bowie Community Center will open at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, August 12, and Wednesday, August 13, due to scheduled maintenance.
Temporary Closures for Scheduled Maintenance
Please be advised that both Beltsville Community Center and South Bowie Community Center will be closed from April 14-18, 2025 for scheduled maintenance.
Both facilities will reopen on Saturday, April 19, 2025, during normal business hours.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to maintain safe, high-quality spaces for our community to enjoy.

The Therapeutic Sensory Room is under construction and is currently not available to rent.
The Therapeutic Sensory Room offers participants the opportunity to discover and explore! Whether used for therapeutic gain, motivation, encouragement, pain reduction, anger management, stress relief, or simply for recreational pleasure and relaxation, come take advantage of this state-of-the-art environment.
The waiting area serves as a break area. The room features shoe cubbies, comfortable seating, an observation window, and a flat-screen TV displaying a short orientation video to accustom you to the Therapeutic Sensory Room’s equipment and features. Please call for availability and pricing information.
