Masks and Mirrors: Beautiful Reflections

June 4-July 31, 2022

Public Reception Saturday, June 4, 2022, 2 pm-4 pm

In this solo exhibition "Beautiful Reflections,” Elaine Weiner-Reed features a curated subset of abstract expressionist paintings and figurative sculptures from her Masks and Mirrors Collection. Her work juxtaposes strength and inner beauty with vulnerability and external imperfections. Focusing on the resiliency of the human spirit and one’s inner beauty, this artist invites us to redefine and transform existing definitions of BEAUTY in the 21st Century. Melissa Burley: Behind Closed Doors

June 4-July 7, 2022

Public Reception Saturday, June 4, 2022, 2 pm-4 pm

“Behind Closed Doors”, started as a curiosity fueled by the thought of “What is the mystery of the people behind these doors?” In an effort to give a glimpse, Melissa Burley combined and illuminated relics from people’s past. By using refurbished furniture parts, housewares, glass, antiques, and other found objects, Burley shows what could be the answer to her curious mystery.
